What started with nascent new comers like Fitbit and Withings has exploded to include mainstream tech giants like Sony and Asus. Where once there were a handful of activity trackers, heart rate monitors and other such kit on the market, now there are tonnes. Some are designed to be worn on your wrist or around your neck, whilst others clip to your pocket or are even developed into the sports clothing that you wear.
